Namgosanseong Fortress, the only historic site of Hubaekje in Korea

If you want a special trip in Jeonju, how about searching for the breath of Gyeon-Hwon by visiting Donggosanseong Fortress and Namgosanseong Fortress? Donggosanseong Fortress and Namgosanseong Fortress. Donggosanseong Fortress and Namgosanseong Fortress, which contains the breath and story of Gyeon-Hwon, who dreamed of the revival of Baekje, are not complex vacation spots, but are a special trip to explore from the history of Hubaekje to the history of the Joseon Dynasty. Donggosanseong Fortress (Jeollabuk-do Monument No. 44), where you can see Jeonju, the capital of Hubaekje.
There is the Gyeonhwon palace site. On the hillside of Seungam Mountain, where Donggosanseong is located, the ruins of Gyeon-Hwon's Hubaekje Doseong Fortress were unearthed.

In particular, the lotus-patterned Sumaksae and Ammaksae excavated at the time of excavation are written as Jeonjuseong, proving that this was the site of Gyeonhwon Palace.

Donggosanseong Fortress Gyeonhwonwanggung site is centered on the top of Seungamsan Mountain, and there is a sacred site for fatal assets. There is also Donggosa Temple, where you can see Jeonju at a glance.

Namgosanseong Fortress, which was a major picnic area in Jeonju in the 1970s and 1980s, is a fortress built along the foot of Mt. Godeok.

The remaining castle walls were built to prevent the Japanese army during the Imjin War, and they were called Namgosanseong Fortress when they were rebuilt in the 13th year of King Sunjo (1813).

Currently, there is a Gwanseong tomb that enshrines Namgosa and Gwanwoo, the hero of the Three Kingdoms, and the Namgojin historical monument that records the facilities and scale of the fortress, so you can visit it in half a day.

In addition, Namgosan, where Namgosanseong is located, has three peaks: Cheongyeongdae, Mangyeongdae, and Eokgyeongdae. Of these, Mangyeongdae is a rocky peak that rises high to the right toward the west gate of the fortress, and on the southern rocky cliff, the friendship left by Jeong Mongju in the end of Goryeo Poems can be found.
