Jeonju World Sori Festival is a high-quality world music that breaks down walls and world music based on Korean traditional music, Pansori, and offers a variety of performances in one place, including performances by master-level artists who have gained world-renowned reputation in each field without being biased toward a specific music genre. It is an art festival.
In 2001, it started as an international festival with 4,000 people from 142 teams from 15 countries, under the theme of "Sori Love Onnuri", and 29 countries participated in it last year.

In addition, the Jeonju World Sori Festival was selected as one of the '25 Best International Festivals' selected by the renowned British world music magazine "Songlines" for 4 consecutive years (2012~2015), going beyond Jeonbuk's festivals and Korean festivals. It was recognized as a world festival.
The Jeonju World Sori Festival, held every October, is held around the Korean Sori Culture Center and Jeonju Hanok Village.
